Our Deepest Fear?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequte,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to manifest the glory that is within us.
It is not in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear;
our presence automatically liberates others.

(NOTE: I've just learned that this has been incorrectly attributed to
Mandela's inagural address).
This is really from Marianne Williamson's A Return to Love: Reflections on the Princples of a Course in Miracles

Many thanks to Jennifer for the correction!
